St. Anthony's Triathlon 2010

Another great Event has passed and Hawk Racing Inc. was on the "front-line" with products and athletes. 2 days Expo with Outspokin bicycles has created a lot of marketing for the growing brand. With a total of 15 wheel sets and more than 30 Bottom Brackets on race day, Hawk Racing was well presented at the St. Anthony's Triathlon 2010. Our new wheel sets have been very well received by the athletes around the world and with some great results at this years St. A event, we can say for sure that Hawk Racing wheels are fast.

Maxim Kriat – MPRO 10th Overall (Bike Time - 57 min 05 sec)

On Saturday 27 March 2010 Hawk Racing Pro Triathlete Helen Libby helped to put on a free triathlon clinic for beginners and intermediates at Freedom Sports in Panama City Beach, FL. Participants were walked through the traditional triathlon sequence highlighting the rules and “tricks” to ensure a safe and efficient race. General swim techniques, transition skills, and racing with comfort and speed were covered in this first clinic. Many participants stayed for an hour after the clinic officially ended to ask more questions and obtain contact information. Turnout was high even with a bike race held concurrent with the clinic. Keep your eyes out for future clinics which plan to divide up the segments and integrate each with a group training (e.g. swim training then group open water swim) which will allow more individual attention.

2nd Place at the National Duathlon Championship

Sponsored Pro Athlete Jessica Jacobs who won the National Duathlon Title in 2009 finished a minute short to repeat another win at the 2010 Championships. Jessica has been sponsored last year by Hawk Racing and just renewed her agreement with the small company for another 2 years. She has raced the 2010 version wheels at the event in Alabama and was impressed with the improvements to 2009. Jessica has been the 7th athlete who finished Podium this season on the new Hawk Racing wheels and bottom brackets and we are sure more will come.

Kraft wins Internatinal Triathlon Santos / Brazil

After the event, Nina stayed that she had the race of her life and that's thanks to the super fast Hawk Racing wheels and bottom brackets. Of course her new bike from CEEPO and the Profile Design parts made everything complete, but our products played a major role in the win. The Olympic Distance Race in Brazil was the first race for the German Pro Triathlete and she won the event in 1h59min12sec. Nina always has been a strong swimmer and great runner, but now she has improved on her bike time as well and won the event by 10min in front of the second female. We are looking forward to more results in 2010. Well Done Nina...YOU ROCK!

Pro BMX rider and winner of the gold medal at the Beijing Olympics 2008 Maris Strombergs couldn't believe the performance of the Hawk Racing bottom bracket at his last race in Florida. 2 Pro BMX riders have already tested for several month how the HR BB will hold up in BMX races and we good 100% satisfaction of the riders. Maris is the 3rd Pro Rider who is using our ENG BB and we are sure more will follow.

After seing our carbon fiber wheel sets we produce, even the BMX riders have ask now to develop hubs for BMX wheels. We didn't expect that our BB's would actually fit in a BMX bike, but we have been wrong and now we start our research to develop products for BMX as well. Good Luck to Maris in his 2010 race season. AeroCat Cycling Team signes with Hawk Racing Inc.

The AeroCat Cycling Team signs with Hawk Racing Inc for 2010. The team has already the new green Hawk Racing bottom brackets. Furthermore, everybody will race on our new carbon fiber wheels as well. Since tires are expensive and our wheels are top of the line, the whole team will race on clincher wheels and not on tubulars. Winter Garden Wheel Works - HR dealer

Dennis and his crew has been a dealer for about 8 month now. What started with a sold Hawk Racing bike (see photo - Dennis left/Paul right) has changed now to wheels and bottom brackets only, since we are not making any frames in 2010. Winter Garden Wheel Works has currently our bottom brackets and re-orderes every month a bigger QTY. You also will be able to rent our 2010 Hawk Racing wheels at the bike shop or purchase your new Hawk Racing wheel set in Winter Garden. In the November 2009 Triathlete Magazine Issue, Ian Buchanan (Co-Owner of Fit Werx Bicycle Shop)has review different bearings and bottom brackets. Also the Hawk Racing Bottom Bracket was tested and after his test, Fit Werx became an authorized dealer. (Page 156)

Horrible Hundred Bike Ride - Clermont, FL

In 2009, Hawk Racing has been the official Jersey sponsor for the event. We made more than 400 Event Cycling clothing and more than 1600 Event T-shirts. We are looking forward to be a part again in 2010.

We will continue to sponsor events as well in 2010. One of the bigger events so far will be the 1st Powerhouse Festival in Bradenton, FL in April 2010.
